Advanced Product Pricing
You can set up bulk discounts for each product by creating a table that lists the quantities and the discount amounts. You can choose from fixed price adjustments, percentage adjustments, or a fixed price per product. You can also choose which roles the pricing rule should apply to.
You can choose how to count the quantities in the quantity pricing table. You can choose to tally quantities based upon the product’s cart quantity, each variation, and each cart line item (useful for Gravity Forms Addons or Product Add-ons), as well as based on the categories in your cart.
Advanced product pricing is useful when you have to offer a discount based on how many products a customer has purchased. Advanced product pricing is also available for existing customers who have been added to a role you define. “Gold Members”.
Examples
- Shoppers who purchase 5 or more Product Titles receive a 10% discount
- Gold Members receive a $20 discount on purchases of between 2 and 5 Product Names. If they buy more than 5, you can give them a $25 discount.
- Purchase 5 or more Product Names and receive a 5% discount for everyone. Gold Members get a 10% discount.
- If the purchaser purchases 1 or more items in our Laptops category, they will receive a Laptop carrying bag at a %10 Discount
Advanced Category Pricing
Create a table with quantities and discount amounts to create bulk discounts for product groups. You can choose between a fixed-price adjustment or a percentage-based adjustment. You can also choose which roles the category pricing rule should apply to.
Advanced Category Pricing This is useful when you have to price adjust all items within a category based upon how many items a shopper is buying from your product categories. Advanced category pricing can also be applied to customers who have been added to a role that you define, such as Gold Members.
Examples
- If a customer buys 5 or more items from Paperback Books, you can get a 10% discount.
- Receive a $10 discount when a Gold member purchases 1 or more items in the Carrying Cases section.
Simple Category Pricing
Configure discounts to all items within a product category. You can choose between a fixed-price adjustment or a percentage-based adjustment. As shoppers shop and browse your catalog, they will see discounts that are simple categories.
Examples
- All items in the T-Shirts Category get a 10% discount
Simple Role Based Pricing
For users in the roles that you create, you can configure discounts for all products within your store. Discounts that are based on simple roles-based pricing will be displayed to customers as they shop or browse your catalog.
Examples
- All Gold Members get a 10% discount for everything they buy
- All Premium Members get a $1 discount for all purchases
