Plugins & Page Builders Support
To clarify, the following: Pro Version supports more plugins and page builders doesn’t mean that it will detect more files; on the contrary: it will return less false-positive results (= better accuracy). The Free Version will require you to be more careful. Pro While the Version is more accurate than the previous, you still need to be careful. False-positive results may be found within the Pro Version, contact us to discuss your needs.
Media Library Scan/Filescan
There is no better scan than any other, they just do a different scan and give different results. You will need to run both. Depending on how your WordPress is used, you may only need one.
- Media Library Scan: Media Cleaner It will first analyze all of your WordPress content and create a database listing the files that are used in your content. The program will then go through all media in your website. Media Library, and check if it’s part of the used files.
- Scan Filesystem: Media Cleaner We will analyze your entire body Media Create a library (including metadata) and a database of files that are registered in it. Then, it will go through every single file in the filesystem (or hard drive, if you prefer), and check if it’s part of the used files.
Please note that this behavior is the default (and recommended) one. This behavior can be changed through the settings, as you will see in this tutorial.
