This integration opens up a lot more possibilities for your learning system, especially if the goal is to create a custom enrollment capability for paid or free courses.
What is it? Gravity Forms?
For many years, Gravity Forms WordPress powered sites have been using them for years. They are often the best at creating custom forms. “go-to” Form plugin for many developers
The best thing about Gravity Forms though is that you don’t have to be a developer to use it on your site. Their support is excellent and the interface is easy to use. If you need custom forms (contact form, order forms, etc.), then you can’t go wrong with them.
What is the Meaning of the LearnDash-Gravity Forms Integration Do?
Many of you requested the ability create a completely new enrollment form for your courses. This integration makes it possible! This integration allows you to:
- Create a custom sign-up form. The Gravity Forms You can capture any information you want when students register to take a course with builder
- Auto-enrollment enrolls users in the course of their choosing. The integration allows for you to map your forms to one or more LearnDash courses. After submitting the form, an account is created and the user is enrolled in the course(s).
- Offer courses for free or charge for them. Any of the payment gateway addons you can use to set a price or accept payments. Gravity Forms.
Bonus Update: LearnDash Type of price
We also added a new type of price to this integration LearnDash Courses titled “Closed” In the most recent version of LearnDashThe following was also released today:
Selecting the “Closed” Price time will remove the “Take this Course” button. This means that a user cannot gain access to the course unless they manually enroll or if they use an integration such as the Gravity Forms Integration to sell the course instead.
If you enter a URL for a custom button (optional), then the “Take this Course” This button will appear on your course page and will take you to the page of choice. This is especially useful for those who are using Gravity Forms. Simply paste the URL of your custom registration page.
How do I get started?
To get started, the following plugins must be installed and activated.
- LearnDash LMS
- Gravity Forms
- Gravity Forms User Registration Add-on (sold By Gravity Forms)
- LearnDash-Gravity Forms Integration
Once the installation is complete, you will need to create your form. Then, on the User Registration settings page, you will be able to associate the form with a course.
That’s it!
When someone submits the form successfully (with or without a cost), a user account is created and they will automatically be enrolled in the course(s) associated with the form.
